Tussle 2012
With a gesture that could inspire many, the Rotaract Club functioning at Malnad College of Engineering, Hassan, conducts Tussle, a mock placement event to help students by giving them a clear idea about the different stages of recruitment process. The unique event being awaited by the aspirants is set to happen on the 17th and 18th of March 2012. The event entails all the steps which are involved in campus recruitment and it helps to elevate the confidence level within the students.
Tussle’12, a demo version of the placement method will be a two days event. It gives a visual presentation about how placement procedure actually works. The event includes four rounds, foremost, aptitude test which is a written round, involves quantitative and technical division for both digital and non-digital branches. All the students will be allowed to the group discussion round. An aggregation of students will be made and allowed to collaborate regarding a topic as mentioned by HRs. This will be followed by the technical round, which is an interview round in technical domain. The last round is a basic HR interview round.
The splendor for the unique event is being added by the HRs from across the top most industries with vast experience. The HRs will be instructing the students about the tricks and techniques involved in cracking aptitude and GD rounds, delivering sessions on behavioral aspects involved in the interview rounds. They will also be guiding students in preparing resume and related formats. A workshop on career opportunities will also be conducted by them.
Rotaract Club has been conducting this event from past five years and thrice in alliance with ZAV Foundation. It is advancing with popularity and better response every year. Certainly students are going to be benefitted by the event in a greater extent. This event has helped a lot of students in getting rid of the fear and timid actions towards placements. This exceptional event having its own standards and importance, endows students with a clear depiction about the procedure, avoiding lest.
