Swayam, a Self-Help Group initiative spearheaded by women has come up with a much-needed product for today – Reusable Cloth Masks

These reusable triple-layered, washable fabric face masks are meant for the day to day use. The soft, comfortable and durable masks will help you in playing your part to stop the spread of infections in your community.

The mask’s design is influenced by the 3-layer surgical mask in the market with a disposable middle layer filter which is sandwiched by a cloth mask as the outer and inner layers. The kitchen tissue paper has a filtration efficiency of that of N70. Hence this mask can be used repeatedly by replacing the middle layer in every 4 hours.

Oh Yes! While masks will do its job to a certain extent, we should continue following the new 2020 norms 🙂

• 0 excuses on wearing a mask

How to use our Swayam Cloth Masks?

• Open the mask and place the filter from top. The printed side comes in front.
• Close the mask cover, ensure the filter sticks out of the top and bottom corners.
• Ensure the correct side is up and place the ear loops around your ears.
• Place the ties around your head and secure it with a knot
• We recommend you always keep 2 tissues with you, when you feel its time – replace the middle layer

Wash Instructions:

• Do not touch the front portion of the mask, always hold it from strings
• Wash your hands thoroughly after removing the mask
• Drop the mask in a soap water solution, clean it thoroughly and sun-dry it
• Iron it (if you have got that 30 seconds) and use it again
