YOUreka : Youth Leadership Initiative

Youth Leadership Program offers the opportunity for the youth to grow, develop and practice the principles of togetherness and self-reliance. The environment helps promote teamwork, leadership and unity. These programmes provide an unparalleled opportunity to get engaged in a meaningful volunteer internship in some of our initiatives.

YLP does not only prepare young participants to meet the challenges of adolescence and adulthood, but also urges them to cultivate social, ethical, emotional, physical and cognitive competencies. YLP supports young persons in developing the ability to analyze their strengths and weaknesses, instils self confidence, shows them avenues of motivation and furthers their ability to carry out meaningful actions diligently.

The variety of activities in the YLP include: community service projects, sport and adventure activities, cultural activities, discussion, and friendship-building games. These programmes prepares the youth & young professionals to face challenges and offers a chance to live the experiences, not as a tourist but as a native, living as a local, and enjoying the adventures and memories that can be cherished for a lifetime. This program focuses on “taking charge”; during this process, they gain a deeper understanding and develop skills.
